Here we are at the end of our second round of Common Threads and what a month it was.
We listened to Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath, The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses and Permission to Land by the Darkness. Three very different bands and albums and for the most part, everyone seemed to enjoy the musical journey.
There wasn’t an album that we didn’t really like, although Darren didn’t dig the Stone Roses. Most loved The Darkness as well as Black Sabbath and we were a bit surprised by how much blues there was in the latter. Here are some of the Common Threads with these three works:
