Review of The Prodigy – Fat of the Land
Throughout the month of April, 2024, The Sonic Collective did a deep dive into The Prodigy’s third, and most impactful album, Fat of the Land.
We seemed very much aligned on this album, with all of us enjoying it to varying degrees. Some of us felt that the aggressive nature became overwhelming after a while, while others appreciated that aspect. Several members suggested this album paired nicely with some (legal) cannabis consumption. Over all, for an album released in 1997, The Fat of the Land still hits hard and stands the test of time, with most tracks on the album being worth a listen to. In short, we liked it! As always, your mileage may vary.
