Review of Radiohead: Kid A

Radiohead’s Kid A was ranked #67 on Rolling Stone’s top 500 albums of all time. While researching what album to pick Scott Coates settled on this one. None of our members had ever really listened to much Radiohead  and none of us had listened to this particular album. Though you must listen to all we have to say, we definitely don’t see eye to eye with most of the fans that love this album. Sure it was a massive pivot from their previous work, and that is very risky as a band, but these four Canadian music fans just didn’t appreciate it as much. Hey, it’s all personal taste right? You listen and you decide.

We invite you to hear our four differing opinions of this album and learn about this album. In this podcast you will learn the following but much more:

  • This album was released for free with no videos or singles.
  • Why does this album sound so different from other Radiohead albums before it?
  • Why did the four reviewers struggle with this album?

Listen to our thoughts and see if this is worth going back to and let us know what your experience was with this album.
